There were 2,670 students enrolled in Lamar County School District in the 2022-23 school year, 1.3% more than the previous year, according to reports from the Georgia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52% of them were male, and 48% were female.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, representing 58% of the Lamar County School District's total enrollment.

Lamar County School District roughly covers four schools within Lamar County and has a main office in Barnesville.

Among the four schools in Lamar County School District, Lamar County High School recorded the highest enrollment of 770 students in the 2022-23 school year.

According to the Georgia Department of Education, over 1.6 million students were enrolled in Georgia's public schools during the 2021-22 school year.
