Pike County High School in Pike County welcomed most students in 2022-23 school year

Pike County High School had the highest enrollment among Pike County schools, welcoming 1,076 students during the 2022-23 school year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52% of them were male, and 48% were female.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 87% of the Pike County High School total enrollment.

Among the five schools in Pike County, Pike County Middle School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 836 students, while Pike County Elementary School welcomed 794 students to be ranked third in the 2022-23 school year.

Pike County High School is part of Pike County School District, which generally encompasses schools within Pike County, with its main office in Zebulon.

In the previous school year, Pike County High School also had the highest number of students among Pike County schools.

As of 2024, Georgia has an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:15, which is better than the national average of 1:16. The state has its best student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1 in pre-kindergarten and middle school grades, while high school has an average ratio of 17:1.
