Graduates earn 155 degrees from Wesleyan College

About 35.5 percent of the 155 degrees and certificates handed out by Wesleyan College in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Macon conferred 30 bachelor's degrees and 25 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in registered nursing/registered nurse. Data shows the school gave out 26 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse, followed by 25 master's degrees in general business administration and management and 14 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management.

The college enrolled 765 students for 2017-18, including 725 in undergraduate programs and 40 in graduate programs.
