Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Gordon State College

In-state tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Gordon State College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Georgia residents paid $3,828 to attend the four-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Non-residents paid 161.5 percent more than residents this year, or $10,010. Their price tag was unchanged from $10,010 in 2017-18.

About 99 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Georgia residents. And about 1 percent are residents of other states.

Data shows 94 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 957 students received grants or scholarships totaling $4.7 million and 768 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.9 million.

Including all undergraduates (3,663), 3,077 students used grants or scholarships totaling $12.9 million, and 1,988 students took out $10.5 million in federal student loans.
