Stratford Academy has announced the opening of the Little Eagles Learning Center, a year-round early childhood program scheduled to commence in August 2025. The center will cater to children from six weeks to two years old, offering a play-based environment aimed at fostering growth and exploration.

Dr. Rachel Adams, Head of School, stated, “At Stratford Academy, we believe that nurturing young children with love, care, and purposeful engagement lays the foundation for their growth into confident, compassionate, and curious learners.” She emphasized that through meaningful interactions and age-appropriate activities within a sensory-integrated curriculum, young learners will have opportunities to grow and explore.

The curriculum at Little Eagles is designed to support each stage of early development. For infants, the focus will be on hands-on interactions such as tummy time and storytime to aid cognitive and motor skills. A private nursing room will be available for mothers. For one- and two-year-olds, the curriculum aims to facilitate a smooth transition into Stratford’s Preschool program through activities like free play and music.

A notable aspect of the program is its emphasis on fresh food. As children begin eating solid foods, they will be introduced to farm-to-table meals prepared by FLIK Independent School Dining using locally sourced ingredients.

Christina Sparks has been appointed as Director of Little Eagles Learning Center. Known as “Ms. Tina,” she brings extensive experience in early childhood education. Christina previously founded Happy Trails Learning Center in 2017. In her new role at Stratford Academy, she will manage daily operations under Lori Palmer's leadership.

Families interested in enrolling are encouraged to pre-register by April 7, 2025. They will receive updates leading up to the center's opening day.
