THE WESLEYAN COLLEGE: Wesleyan College offers full-tuition scholarships for Methodist students

The Wesleyan College issued the following announcement on Dec. 17. 

Qualified students who have been accepted to Wesleyan College (by February 14, 2022) will have the opportunity to interview for full-tuition scholarships. Four of these premier scholarships will be awarded to students who are members of the United Methodist Church. To compete for the scholarships, the student must meet high school GPA requirements and other qualifications.

The Mary Knox McNeill Premier Scholarship offers full tuition to Methodist students who demonstrate a commitment to faith and community service, and who are active members of their church. To be considered, the student must have a 3.25 high school GPA and be able to submit certification of church membership from their pastor along with a letter of support.

The Margaret Pitts Endowed Scholarship for Methodist Students provides full tuition to students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement along with a commitment to faith, leadership, and community service. To be considered, students must be active members in the United Methodist Church and have a 3.0 high school GPA.

Qualified students are encouraged to apply to Wesleyan College using either the free online application or the Common Application, and indicate her religious affiliation. She must apply and be accepted to Wesleyan by February 14, 2022 in order to be invited to compete for the scholarship at our annual Scholarship Day on February 19, 2022.
