The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a full time Tax Appraiser.  The candidate will be responsible for performing tax assessment duties on commercial property.  The position is responsible for estimating the fair market value of all commercial property within the county through the ad valorem valuation of property, determining how the tax will be distributed equitably among tax papers.  The applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Georgia driver’s license.  Applicant must have 2-3 years’ experience.
