Stratford Girls Basketball Coach Ed Smith was name GHSA Region 1A Coach of the Year. Coach Smith has received this honor 12 times and passed his 600 win mark during this season. Congratulations, Coach Smith!

The Georgia Department of Education indicates Pike County Middle School counted 46 African American students among its 2024-25 enrollment.
Lamar County Middle School’s African American student population accounted for 31% of total enrollment during the 2024-25 school year.
