Stratford Academy issued the following announcement on June 8. 

Week 3 – Week of June 13

Sugar Rush Meets Fidgets
Cost: $300 + $35 materials fee
Directors: Katy Burton and Holly Leskovics
June 13-17, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Rising K-6th – Limit 30
Time is of the essence at this camp as teams race against the clock to bake the best tasting sweets and make the best homemade fidgets. Campers are broken into teams and assigned a theme. Teams then showcase their skills by whipping up all kinds of confections from cupcakes to candy as well as fidgets galore to match their theme. Judges pronounce the winner of our competition on the last day. All campers will enjoy the sweet treats, cool fidgets, and have a blast as they bake, make, and create.

Fastpitch Softball Camp
Cost: $135
Director: Danny Camp
June 13-17, 9 a.m.-12 noon
Rising 3rd-8th – Limit 40
Stratford Softball Coach Danny Camp leads this camp to prepare campers to perfect their softball skills for recreational and middle school softball. The camp covers the fundamentals of hitting, throwing, and fielding. Campers leave camp with the knowledge to continue working on their own to become better softball players.

Crazy 4 Sports
Cost: $155
Director: Ginny Reeves and Shelli Wall
June 13-17, 9 a.m.-12 noon
Rising PK-K – Limit 30
This is one camp your young Eagle will not want to miss! Your child will become Crazy 4 Sports playing classic PE games and multiple sports. This camp is all about fun, while also focusing on fine/gross motor skill development. In addition to time spent in The Grady, participants will enjoy outside water activities.

Roar Like a Dinosaur
Cost: $145 + $15 materials fee
Directors: Ginny Butler and Irene Whitaker
June 13-17, 9 a.m.-12 noon
Rising PK-K – Limit 15
Campers will have fun exploring the life of dinosaurs! We will make crafts, read books, dig up fossils, sing, dance, go on a dinosaur hunt, and become junior paleontologists before the week is over.

Fairies and Friends
Cost: $145 + $15 materials fee
Directors: Ashley Kelly and Cheri Shurling
June 13-17, 1-4 p.m.
Rising K-1st – Limit 15
Grab a friend and let’s travel to Fairyland! We will build fairy houses, make magic wands, crowns, wings, and do all things fairy!
