Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies arrested five individuals in connection with a burglary that occurred on Greentree Parkway. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 10:05a.m., Tuesday morning.
Patrol Deputies responded to a report of a burglary in progress that occurred in the 1600 block of Greentree Parkway. Witnesses stated that a couple of males entered a residence and possibly stole some items. The caller gave a description of the males and stated that the males fled in a burgundy truck, which was also occupied by several other male individuals. Bibb Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies arrived and found that the back door was kicked in and rooms in the house appeared to have been ransacked.
Bibb Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies checked the area and located the burgundy truck and the male individuals that fit the description given by the witnesses. The truck and males were located in the 400 block of Long Leaf Drive. Additional Patrol Deputies and Investigators from the Property Division responded to the scene. Through the course of the investigation, Patrol Deputies discovered that the burgundy truck was reported stolen out of Warner Robins. Deputies also recovered a stolen BMW and camper that was reported stolen from Macon. Other stolen merchandise and items, from this burglary and previous burglaries, were found on the property.
The male individuals were transported to the Bibb Sheriff’s Investigations Division. After being interviewed, five male individuals were taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. The following males were charged during this investigation:
Victor Hector Garcia, age 43, was charged with Burglary, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property -Felony, Theft by Taking- Felony , Criminal Damage to Property-2nd Degree, he also had a separate charge of Contempt of City Court and a Probation Violation- Felony. Garcia does not have a bond at this time.
Jose Luis Garcia, age 37, from Byron, was charged with Burglary, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Theft by Taking-Felony, (two counts) of Failure to Appear, and he has a Hold from another agency. Jose Garcia does not have a bond at this time.
Rolando Cardenas-Hernandez, age 34, was charged with Burglary. Cardenas-Hernandez does not have a bond at this time.
Benjamin Edward Hunnicutt Jr., age 30, was charged with Burglary. Hunnicutt does not have a bond at this time.
Christopher Matthew Davis, age 51, was charged with Burglary and he also has a separate charge of Probation Violation-Felony. Davis does not have a bond at this time.
This investigation has been turned over to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Property Division. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
