Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrest two men on Burglary charges and are looking for a third suspect. The burglary happened just after 4:00 a.m. at the Murphy Express Gas Station, located at 1402 Gray Highway.
Deputies were dispatched to the Murphy Express Gas Station regarding an alarm call. While en route deputies were informed that the suspects left the scene in a SUV. With help from a tip, deputies were able to locate the individuals on S. Richard Street and take two of the three suspects into custody without incident.
37-year-old Calvin Nelson Jr., of Macon, was taken to the Bibb County jail and charged with Burglary. He is being held on an $8,450.00 bond.
Also in custody is 40-year-old Antonio Tawan Smith, of Macon. Smith was taken to the Bibb County jail and charged with Burglary. He is being held on an $8,450.00 bond.
The third subject ran from deputies. He is described as a tall, slender male that was last seen wearing a green jacket. There are no videos or photos of the suspect at this time.
