Computer Tech (Full Time) IT22-00302

The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a full time Computer Tech.  The applicant will be responsible for diagnosing and remedying computer network problems as well as providing information technology support to county personnel.  The applicant will maintain local networks, schedule updates, troubleshoot to resolve computer and device problems, set up workstations, and provide computer and software training.  The applicant will also work with the Elections Superintendent to upload elections files to the Secretary of State, assist with uploading election results to the Secretary of State, assist with the production of ballot cards, and assist in maintaining elections equipment.  The applicant must have a valid Georgia driver’s license, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and 2 years’ experience.
