MONROE COUNTY: Now Hiring Records Retention Intern

Monroe County issued the following announcement on May 19. 

Internship Records Retention Administrator

The Monroe County Board of Commissioners is seeking an Intern for a Records Retention Administrator. The intern will be organizing the yearly records for various departments, located inside the county Administration Building, following the State of Georgia retention schedule. The intern will need to have good organizational skills and the ability to lift boxes. This is a grant funded position therefore the qualifications for the applicant are the intern should be currently enrolled in college as an undergraduate or graduate student or have recently graduated from college within one year of the grant period. High school students 16 years of age or older who are dually enrolled in a college or university are also eligible. General high school students who have not yet begun college are not eligible. The intern position is for a total of 200 hours with a minimum of 15 hours per week worked. Applications will be accepted until position is filled. Salary will be $12.00 per hour. Applications will be accepted at the Monroe County Commission Office, 38 West Main Street on the third floor, between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00 pm. Applicants will be subject to a background check and drug screening. Monroe County is an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace
