Join us for the powerful season finale of the hottest concert to see and be seen in Macon – the Macon-Mercer Symphony Orchestra! The MMSO is symphony redesigned, with you in mind. Forget what you think you know about orchestra music – THIS symphony goes from playing Haydn to hip-hop seamlessly in one evening, as a gathering place for all of Macon to come and enjoy “make more music Mondays” that fill downtown with the rich tapestry of sound and an elegant evening out to network and connect. The MMSO is composed of an intergenerational ensemble featuring Atlanta Symphony Orchestra principal musicians as well as McDuffie Center for Strings Young Artists. The season concludes with the explosive Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2, written during the author’s depression. Macon hip-hop artist Bob Lennon also takes the stage as a featured guest artist with the worldwide premiere of his commission, “Don’t You Look at Me.”

The exclusive offer for Macon Young Professionals includes both a ticket to the concert AND a special pre-show reception including drinks and hor d'oeuvres with the MMSO Young Patron’s Circle at McEachern Art Center – totaling a $50 value for only $20. Meet other movers and shakers under 40, get in a champagne toast with the featured guest artists, and have an opportunity to win a poster signed by world-famous violinist Robert McDuffie.
