MONROE COUNTY: Advertisement for Bid for Scoreboards at the Recreation Department

Monroe County issued the following announcement on Feb. 9. 

The Monroe County Board of Commissioners is hereby accepting sealed bids for SCOREBOARDS located at Monroe County Recreation Department, 100 Dan Pitts Dr, Forsyth GA 31029. 

Bids must be received by Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Absolutely no bids will be accepted after the aforementioned time and date. Bids should be clearly marked Scoreboards. No faxed bids will be accepted. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount no less than 10% of the bid, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of the total bid. 

Bid packet may be mailed to PO Box 189, Forsyth GA 31029 or hand delivered to Phyllis Jarrell located at 38 W Main Street, Ste 2, Forsyth GA 31029. 

Scope of Work: There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. located at Monroe County Recreation Department, 100 Dan Pitts Dr, Forsyth GA 31029. 

All proposals must be represented at the mandatory pre-bid conference in order to have their bid accepted. The specs will be given out at the pre-bid conference. 

The Trade Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools and services as required to satisfactorily complete all the work that is necessary according to specifications in the bid packet. 

The successful bidder will be required to provide Monroe County with a Certificate of Insurance for General Liability and Worker’s Compensation
