County of Jones issued the following announcement on Dec. 8.
The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a part- time Library Assistant. The applicant will be responsible for assisting patrons and giving information related to library services, fees, procedures, and other issues necessary to complete the daily operations of the department. The applicant must be able to work night and weekend hours. The applicant must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Georgia driver’s license and have 1 year of related work experience.
