County of Jones issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.
The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a Purchasing Agent. The applicant will be responsible for managing the procurement operations of the Jones County Government. The applicant will be responsible for preparing purchase orders, soliciting bid proposals, and reviewing requisitions for goods and services. The applicant must have a high school diploma or GED and have 2 years of related work experience.
