County of Jones issued the following announcement on Oct. 6.
The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a Maintenance Tech (Water/Sewer). This position is responsible for maintaining water lines and water pumping equipment, performing corrective maintenance, installing water and sewer lines, and performing main line repairs. Applicants must have a high School diploma or equivalent, a valid Georgia driver’s license, and 2 years’ experience is preferred.
