ATRIUM HEALTH NAVICENT: Atrium Health Navicent to Provide Public COVID-19 Vaccination Services at Tuesday Clinic

Vaccine

Atrium Health Navicent issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.

Atrium Health Navicent will be providing public vaccination services at a Tuesday clinic from 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Vaccines will be offered at Atrium Health Navicent Wellness Center, 3797 Northside Drive.

The Moderna vaccine, which has been approved for use in individuals 18 and older, will be available. A second dose administered in four weeks will be required for a person to be fully vaccinated. Appointments are available at www.CovidsafeGA.org.

“Vaccination is our proven best method to stop the spread of this deadly virus and prevent severe illness. The vast majority of patients needing hospitalization for COVID-19 and nearly all of those placed on a ventilator are unvaccinated,” said Atrium Health Navicent President and CEO Delvecchio Finley. “Go get the shot. Take a family member with you. Meet a friend there. Protect yourself and your loved ones by rolling up your sleeve and getting vaccinated.”

If you’re unable to attend Tuesday’s clinic, visit dph.georgia.gov/covid-vaccine to locate a vaccine location.

Vaccinated individuals and those waiting to be vaccinated are encouraged to continue to practice COVID-safe behaviors including wearing a mask in public, social distancing and frequent hand washing.
