County of Twiggs issued the following announcement on Aug. 12.
The Twiggs County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 9:00 a.m.
The property is owned by Mack Tharpe and is located at 7988 Ga Hwy 80 (T080C-035) Jeffersonville, Ga 31044. It is 1.92 acres. The property is currently zoned as Residential Agriculture (R-Ag) and requesting to be changed back to Neighborhood Service Commercial (C-1) Zoning District.
The meeting will be conducted in the Twiggs County Courtroom located in the Courthouse, 425 Railroad Street North, Jeffersonville, Georgia. The public is invited to attend.
