Peach County Schools issued the following announcement on Sept. 16.

In an effort to bring communities and schools closer together in a spirit of cooperation to solve difficult education problems, improve academic achievement, provide support for teachers and administrators, and bring parents and community members into the school-based decision-making process, our wonderful administrators at BES and FVMS kicked off their first local school governance team meeting (LSGT).  Our goal for our LSGTs is to reflect the diversity of our community and aspire to achieve our Mission: To Graduate College and Career Ready Students and our Vision: “Learning Today-Leading Tomorrow!”.
