The Roberta-Crawford County Chamber of Commerce announced on May 27 that the Papa’s Peach Classic 5K Race and Fun Run will take place on June 20 at Dickey Farms in downtown Musella. The event is part of the annual Crawford County Fathers Day celebration and marks the race’s tenth anniversary.

All participants, including children and adults, are invited to join the run. Dickey Farms will provide a free ice-cream cone to all runners and walkers as part of the festivities. The event also honors William “Billy Bob” Davis Jr., who is recognized for his dedication to sharing both family history and general history about Roberta and Crawford County.

Registration for the race can be completed online through the Macon Tracks site or by filling out a form at the Roberta-Crawford County Chamber of Commerce office located at 39 Wright Ave. in Roberta. Organizers recommend signing up ahead of time, but will also accept registrations on site.

Participants will have an opportunity to win trophies during this milestone year for the event, which continues its tradition of celebrating fathers and community history.
