Customers who received an e-mailed bill yesterday (09/21/22) from the Monroe County Water Department received bills containing a billing error.
Yesterday, bills calculated from the water utility were incorrectly calculated due to a clerical error. Please do not pay the amount shown on these bills.
Instead, the bills sent out today (09/22/22) are the correctly calculated bills.
This only applies to e-bills. If you receive a printed bill, it will be correct.
The Monroe County Water Department sincerely apologizes for any confusion this may have caused.
