John F. Kennedy, a Republican and Georgia State Senator representing the 18th Senate District since 2015, has recently shared updates on his legislative activities and engagements via social media.

On February 3, 2026, Kennedy expressed gratitude for recognition from a statewide organization, stating: “Thank you to the League of Credit Unions for giving me their Lawmaker of the Year Award! Credit unions are an integral part of our financial system providing essential services to families and small businesses across the state.”

The following morning, on February 4, he highlighted his participation in an industry-focused event: “Great morning at the Georgia Agribusiness Council State Legislative Breakfast! Always appreciate the chance to engage with leaders across from Georgia to talk about supporting our #1 industry.”

On February 5, Kennedy described a meeting with university students involved in conservative leadership: “Had a wonderful time speaking with the @UGACRs . It’s inspiring to see the next generation of young, conservative leaders be engaged and ready to step up. Go dawgs!!”

Kennedy has served in the Georgia State Senate since succeeding Cecil Staton in 2015. His recent posts reflect ongoing involvement with both financial and agricultural organizations as well as engagement with student groups.
