The following day, on May 27, 2026, Kennedy outlined his campaign priorities in another tweet, “Georgians want more than just campaign talking points. They want a conservative record of action and leadership that delivers. As your next Lt. Governor, I promise to provide results over rhetoric to ensure Georgia remains the best place to live, work, and raise a family. https://t.co/dItISpzOjA”.
Later that same day, Kennedy highlighted an endorsement from Dr. Takosha Swan, “I’m honored to have the support and endorsement of Dr. Takosha Swan. Her commitment to serving others https://t.co/KHZEqCOh7O”.
Kennedy was elected in 2015 after replacing former state senator Cecil Staton in Georgia’s 18th Senate District.
