The following morning, on February 25, he highlighted a roundtable discussion with business leaders from Savannah. Kennedy stated, “Had a great roundtable with the Savannah Chamber of Commerce this morning. Georgia is a big state, and each region has its own priorities, challenges, and opportunities. Every corner deserves a leader who shows up, listens, and learns. As your next Lt. Governor, I’ll make sure to https://t.co/7hiIVirxJE”.
Later that day on February 25, Kennedy shared reflections from visiting Jeff Davis Hospital: “Grateful for the chance to tour Jeff Davis Hospital and meet the incredible team caring for this community. Rural healthcare is personal to me. My dad was a rural doctor so I’ve seen firsthand how much these hospitals mean to the families they serve. Places like this are true https://t.co/WhWQ0ICoLZ”.
Kennedy has represented Georgia’s 18th Senate District since being elected in 2015 after succeeding Cecil Staton.
