John F. Kennedy, a Republican who has represented Georgia’s 18th Senate District since his election in 2015, publicly acknowledged support from local leaders in a series of posts on June 1, 2026.

In his first post at 15:02 UTC, Kennedy stated, “Honored to have the support of Representative Rick Jasperse! https://t.co/8eVkazskW2”.

Shortly after, at 15:05 UTC, he wrote, “Honored to have the support of Cumming’s Mayor Troy Brumbalow! @TroyBrumbalow https://t.co/EXBYpCEdzR”.

Later that day, at 17:36 UTC, Kennedy added, “I am incredibly grateful for the support of these proven conservative leaders from Forsyth County. From the Gold Dome to Cumming City Hall, each one of them has fought every day to deliver real results for the hardworking Georgians they represent, and when faced with the options https://t.co/grE7vv2Cjb”.

Kennedy has served as a state senator since replacing Cecil Staton in 2015 and continues to emphasize alliances with established conservative figures in Georgia politics.
