John F. Kennedy, a Republican state senator representing Georgia’s 18th Senate District since 2015, used his social media platform to highlight campaign priorities and recent engagements with community leaders in mid-February 2026.

On February 16, Kennedy wrote, “Georgia Republicans want results, not just rhetoric. We’re leading the way because our campaign is focused on delivering conservative victories and defending our great state against the radical Left.”

The following day, he shared his experience at a business event: “Great morning at the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Legislative Breakfast! I appreciated the opportunity to connect with business owners and community leaders to discuss strengthening Georgia’s economy and expanding opportunities across our state.” This post underscored his engagement with economic development and outreach efforts.

Later that day, Kennedy reminded constituents about a local election: “Today is Election Day in SD18! The polls are open until 7 pm – it is so important we keep the conservative majority. Get out and vote for Steven McNeel.”

Kennedy has served as the state senator for Georgia’s 18th district since 2015, after succeeding Cecil Staton. As a member of the Republican Party, he has been active in legislative matters concerning his district and statewide policy initiatives.
