John F. Kennedy, a Republican elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2015 to represent the state’s 18th Senate District, has shared updates about his recent engagements with voters and local communities through several posts on social media.

On March 12, 2026, Kennedy reflected on an event with young political activists, stating: “Great discussion last night at the Buckhead Young Republicans event! Grateful for the opportunity to share our vision for Georgia, talk through the issues that matter most, and directly engage with voters who care deeply about the future of our state.”

Later that same day, he highlighted his conversations with agricultural workers in Whitfield County: “I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to talk this morning in Whitfield County about the issues that matter most to Georgia’s #1 industry and to the hard working farmers and producers who keep it strong.”

On March 13, Kennedy described ongoing outreach efforts across Northwest Georgia: “From early morning coffee conversations to late afternoon stops across Northwest Georgia, it’s always inspiring to hear directly from people about what matters in their communities. Appreciate every handshake, story, and conversation along the way.”

Kennedy succeeded Cecil Staton as state senator for Georgia’s 18th Senate District after being elected in 2015.
