John F. Kennedy, a Republican and Georgia State Senator representing the 18th Senate District since 2015, announced on June 1, 2026, that he has received endorsements from three state representatives.

At 14:48 UTC, Kennedy posted on his Twitter account: “Honored to have the support of Representative Carter Barrett! https://t.co/kzUOsnF3UW”.

A few minutes later, at 14:55 UTC, he shared another message: “Honored to have the support of Representative Brent Cox! https://t.co/vSKNRfVF7s”.

Shortly after, at 14:58 UTC, Kennedy added: “Honored to have the support of Representative Lauren McDonald, III! https://t.co/M7nU53rdkL”.

Kennedy has served in the Georgia State Senate since being elected in 2015 to succeed Cecil Staton as representative for the state’s 18th Senate District.
