John F. Kennedy, a Republican who has represented Georgia’s 18th Senate District since 2015, announced endorsements from several state legislators in a series of posts on May 28, 2026.

On his official Twitter account, Kennedy stated, “Honored to have the support of Senator Kay Kirkpatrick! https://t.co/0QKC7f617X” (May 28, 2026). Later that day, he added another endorsement: “Honored to have the support of Senator Russ Goodman! https://t.co/YeTFjqHjc5” (May 28, 2026). Shortly after, Kennedy shared further news: “Honored to have the support of Representative Leesa Hagan! https://t.co/oeQPXRC8jB” (May 28, 2026).

Kennedy was first elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2015 and succeeded Cecil Staton as representative for the state’s 18th Senate District.
