John F. Kennedy, a Republican and Georgia State Senator representing the 18th Senate District since 2015, announced endorsements from several local officials in a series of social media posts on May 29, 2026.

In his first post of the day, Kennedy wrote: “Honored to have the support of Mayor Rusty Paul! https://t.co/5wPFcYa9ut” (May 29, 2026).

Later that evening, he shared another endorsement: “Honored to have the support of Representative Joe Campbell! https://t.co/OCkxYuSYOB” (May 29, 2026).

Shortly after, Kennedy posted: “Honored to have the support of Mayor John Howard! https://t.co/u7pCnZ6tib” (May 29, 2026).

Kennedy has served in the Georgia State Senate since replacing Cecil Staton in 2015. He represents the state’s 18th Senate District.
