John F. Kennedy, a Republican who has represented Georgia’s 18th Senate District since 2015, recently posted on his social media account to announce endorsements from several state lawmakers.
On May 28, 2026, Kennedy wrote, “Honored to have the support of Senator Mike Hodges! https://t.co/gEFSkWxv4h”.
Shortly after, he posted another message stating, “Honored to have the support of Representative Jesse Petrea! https://t.co/dso64VI1Bk”, also dated May 28, 2026.
Later that day, Kennedy added a third post: “Honored to have the support of Representative Mark Newton! https://t.co/NwqfPPQZfZ”.
Kennedy has served in the Georgia State Senate since his election in 2015. He succeeded Cecil Staton as senator for the 18th Senate District.
