John F. Kennedy, a Republican and Georgia State Senator representing the 18th Senate District since 2015, announced endorsements from several state lawmakers in a series of posts on June 2, 2026.

On June 2, Kennedy posted, “Honored to have the support of Representative Danny Mathis! https://t.co/I8xXCOliUJ”. Later that day, he shared another message: “Honored to have the support of Representative Stan Gunter! https://t.co/W4Geq3ndGk”.

In a subsequent post on June 2, Kennedy wrote, “Honored to have the support of Senator Drew Echols! @thedrewechols https://t.co/5k1M5c0GQC”.

Kennedy has served in the Georgia State Senate since his election in 2015, succeeding Cecil Staton as representative for the state’s 18th Senate District.
