Shortly after, at 17:48 UTC, Kennedy posted, “Honored to have the support of Senator Billy Hickman! https://t.co/CGQZs7N32F”. He followed up at 17:59 UTC with another post stating, “Honored to have the support of Senator Rick Williams! https://t.co/vkDfDHg2CC”.
Kennedy has represented Georgia’s 18th Senate District since winning election in 2015. He succeeded Cecil Staton in that role.
