The Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce held its 2025 Annual Awards Program on November 20 at Fall Line Station, recognizing several business and community leaders for their contributions to the local economy and civic life. The event, presented by Cox, gathered chamber investors, business leaders, community partners, and elected officials.

Jessica Walden, President and CEO of the Greater Macon Chamber, delivered the annual “State of the Chamber” address. She discussed progress in business advocacy, workforce development, and economic growth over the past year. Walden emphasized the Chamber’s role in bringing together leaders and advancing initiatives that support long-term prosperity.

“Our Annual Awards celebrate more than individual achievements,” said Walden. “They showcase the collective momentum driving Macon-Bibb forward. Each honoree embodies the compassion, creativity, and commitment that make our business community strong. Their example inspires all of us at the Chamber as we continue building a Greater Macon, together.”

The awards recognize chamber investors who have shown leadership and engagement with both the organization and the broader Macon-Bibb community during the awarded year. Honorees must also contribute to economic and community vitality in Macon-Bibb County.

Robbo Hatcher of H2 Capital received the Josh Rogers Citizen of the Year award for civic responsibility, business involvement, ethical character, and sustained service to the community. Georgia Power was recognized with the Workforce Impact Award for its efforts to strengthen local talent recruitment and retention. Skipper Family Farms was named Small Business of the Year for its impact on both economy and community through service and partnership with the chamber.

Visit Macon earned Business Catalyst of the Year for promoting growth through advocacy or initiatives supporting diversity or workforce development. Ivey Hall from Macon Area Habitat for Humanity received Robert F. Hatcher Leadership Macon Distinguished Alumni honors for continued leadership in service to the area.

Other honorees included Chrissy Miner from The Miner Agency (Chair’s Award), YKK AP (Industry of the Year), Holly Waits from ServPro Macon (Ambassador of the Year), and Christy Kovac from Sheridan Construction (Chair’s Recognition).

Sponsors for this year’s program included Cox as presenting sponsor along with support from organizations such as Georgia Power, Atrium Health Navicent, Northside Hospital Cancer Institute, Cadence Bank, Sheridan Construction, Prince Service & Manufacturing, Oconee State Bank, Invision Technologies, Cherokee Brick, L.E. Schwartz, Mount de Sales Academy, Stratford Academy among others.

These awards highlight ongoing efforts by individuals and organizations to support job creation and build a collaborative environment within Central Georgia.
