Applications are being accepted for the position of Associate Director at the Georgia High School Association (GHSA). The role includes overseeing seasonal sports and activities, managing state championship events in assigned sports, interpreting GHSA policies and by-laws, reviewing student eligibility, and assisting the Executive Director with association tasks.

Duties may be adjusted after hiring to accommodate specific sports. Candidates should have a strong understanding of high school sports, GHSA rules and eligibility guidelines, and operational procedures through the Georgia Department of Education. The position requires interpersonal skills to work with member schools.

Applicants must hold at least a bachelor’s degree with relevant experience; a master’s degree or higher is preferred. The position is based in Thomaston, Georgia, and regular office attendance is required. Salary will depend on education and experience, with benefits provided.
