The Georgia High School Association recognized National Athletic Training Month on March 20, highlighting the important role athletic trainers play in supporting student-athletes.

National Athletic Training Month is observed each March to acknowledge the contributions of athletic trainers who work to prevent injuries and provide care for athletes. The association said that athletic trainers are essential to student-athlete care, helping to keep athletes healthy and performing well throughout every season and sport.

In a statement, the Georgia High School Association thanked all athletic trainers serving schools across the state. “Your dedication shows up in every season, every sport, every moment,” the association said. “We truly couldn’t do this without you.”

The organization encouraged students and staff to take time to thank their athletic trainers and show appreciation for their efforts.

The recognition of National Athletic Training Month underscores the ongoing commitment of schools and associations to prioritize athlete health and safety.
