The Berry Vikings, with former Stratford Academy star Garrett Lang on their roster, captured an 11-6 win over the LaGrange Panthers in NCAA Division III baseball Tuesday, March 17, at 6 p.m.
The contest took place at Cleaveland Field and was the teams’ second meeting of the season. In the earlier matchup on March 10, the Vikings fell to the Panthers by a score of 16-4.
Lang contributed with four hits in five at-bats, scoring four runs, tallying two RBIs and striking out once.
The Vikings are set to return to action Saturday, March 21, with a 1 p.m. game at William R. Bowdoin Field against the Sewanee Tigers.
