The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a full time Deputy Clerk for the Magistrate Court.  The applicant will be responsible for performing various clerical and administrative duties within Magistrate Court.  The applicant will be responsible for processing pleadings and motions, preparing correspondence to defendants and attorneys, placing cases on the hearing calendar, processing warrants, and maintaining various files and records.  The applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Georgia driver’s license and one year of customer service and clerical experience.
