County of Twiggs issued the following announcement on Aug. 12.
The Twiggs County Board of Commissioners will meet on Thursday, September 2 at 9:00 a.m. in courtroom at the Twiggs County Courthouse, 425 N Railroad Street, Jeffersonville, Ga 3144.
At that time, the Board shall consider the application of Fortified Telecom Services (Verizon Wireless), located at Hwy 96, Jeffersonville, Ga 31044 (T087-044), for a request of a Communications Tower setback to property line. Tower parcel and neighboring parcel are owned by family members and estate. Tower location is placed to minimally impact use of remaining property and future land use.
Any person interested inbeing heard by the Twiggs County Board of Commissioners on this matter is invited to attend.
