COUNTY OF TWIGGS: NOTICE: Public Hearing for Conditional Use-Verizon Wireless

County of Twiggs issued the following announcement on Aug 12. 

The Twiggs County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on September 2, 2021, at 9:00 a.m.

The purpose of the public hearing is to consider a Conditional use for Verizon Wireless.

To achieve the necessary coverage and capacity objectives in this section of Twiggs County, the proposed telecommunications facility must be a minimum of two hundred thirty (230’). The proposed tower design is a lattice tower. This height of the tower includes a five-foot (5’) lightning rod at its top and will be designed based on EIA/TIA code for at least (4) tenants. The property is currently owned by Gladys B. Faulk estate and is located at Hwy 96, Jeffersonville, Ga 31044 Parcel ID (T087 044).

The meeting will be conducted in the Twiggs County Courtroom located inside the Courthouse, 425 Railroad Street North, Jeffersonville, Georgia. The public is invited to attend.
