County of Monroe issued the following announcement on July 27. 

The Monroe County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for Administrative Assistant. This position is responsible for answering the telephone, greeting visitors, and providing information and assistance to the public for the Commissioner’s Office. This position requires excellent organizational and customer service skills. This position assists the County Manager, Human Resource Manager, the Finance Department and Code Enforcement with special projects and task assigned. Starting salary is $14.00 per hour. Applications will be taken through August 10, at 5:00 p.m. and can be picked up at the Monroe County Board of Commissioner Office, 38 West Main Street, Forsyth, Georgia 31029 from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. Monroe County is Drug Free Workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
