County of Jones issued the following announcement on Nov. 15. 

The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a Water Department Superintendent.  The applicant will be responsible for the overall administration of all programs, operations, and facilities of the Jones County Water Department.  The applicant must have 5 – 10 years of experience with a water system administration and 3 – 5 years of supervisory experience.  The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration or a related field and a valid Georgia driver’s license.  A Class 2 Water License and a Class 3 Wastewater License is required.
