County of Jones issued the following announcement on Jan. 18. 

The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a Maintenance Worker. Candidate will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, and lawn care. Preferred 1 years’ experience operating maintenance/cleaning equipment, and common hand tools. Must have high school diploma or equivalent and valid Georgia driver’s license.
