County of Jones issued the following announcement on Aug. 27. 

The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a Library Branch Manager.  The work of this position involves coordination of all public library services.  The Library Branch Manager will assist patrons with selection of library material, maintain accurate records, prepare the annual budget, attend library board meetings, conduct periodic inventory of the library book collection, plan and organize the Summer Reading Program, and coordinate with local educators for suitable library program schedules.  The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree and a valid Georgia driver’s license.  Two years of experience is required.
