County of Jones issued the following announcement Mar. 14.

The Jones County District Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for a Legal Secretary.  The applicant will be responsible for a variety of routine clerical and administrative duties including preparing court statements and forms, managing records, projects and calendars, indexing and updating pleadings and discovery binders, and supporting legal research.  The applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Georgia driver’s license and one year of experience.
