County of Jones issued the following announcement on June 7.
The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a part time Golf Cart Attendant. The applicant will be responsible for cleaning golf carts, gassing the carts, and having carts ready for customers. The applicant must have a valid Georgia driver’s license.

There were 576 registered sex offenders living in Bibb County as of the week ending Feb. 21, according to the Georgia Sex Offender Registry.
