County of Jones issued the following announcement on Feb. 4. 

The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for an Equipment Operator.  The applicant will perform work in all types of weather conditions. Must be able to locate, mark, and perform corrective maintenance on water and sewer lines, operate dump trucks, backhoes, and boom trucks. Minimum 1 years’ experience. Must have High School diploma or equivalent and valid Ga. Driver’s License.
