County of Jones issued the following announcement on June 9. 

The Jones County Board of Commissioners is hiring a full time Elections Clerk.  The applicant will be responsible for assisting customers and voters with voter registration, absentee balloting and ID requirements, processing voter registration applications, inputting new names to the voter registration database, and assisting during elections.  Applicant must be able to use computers and have knowledge of basic office equipment.  The applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Georgia driver’s license.  1 year of Customer Service is required.
